Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CohortHub's waitlist and cohort matching service. By joining the waitlist, you agree to them.

1. What CohortHub is

CohortHub matches people who are already enrolled in the same third-party prep course (like a Udemy, Coursera, or A Cloud Guru course) into small study groups, or "cohorts," so they can hold each other accountable with weekly goals and check-ins.

2. What CohortHub isn't

CohortHub doesn't sell, host, or provide the prep courses themselves, and it isn't affiliated with the certification bodies (such as AWS, Kubernetes, or PMI) whose exams our members are studying for. We don't guarantee that you'll pass any exam or certification.

3. Joining the waitlist

To join the waitlist you provide an email address, the exam you're studying for, and the name of the prep course you're using. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that it's yours to give.

4. Cohort matching

We form cohorts of roughly 4–6 people studying the same course, generally on a weekly basis, as soon as enough people have joined the waitlist for a given course. We don't guarantee a specific match date or that a cohort will be a particular size.

5. Acceptable use

Once you're part of a cohort, we ask that you:

We may remove anyone from a cohort or the waitlist who doesn't follow these guidelines.

6. No fees, for now

Joining a cohort is currently free. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll clearly disclose the pricing and terms before charging you anything.

7. Service "as is"

CohortHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CohortHub isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including outcomes related to exams or certifications you pursue.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
